Hi,i have openpli image on my vu+duo,i am trying to get crossepg to work but no luck any help on this.

have you pointed it to the correct mounted device ie usb stick or hard drive in the config

Yes,to hard drive,when I update xepgdb providers it only updates 4 and rytec providers it cannot retrieve providers.

I setup mine yesterday on the latest blackhole image just for 28 east with no probs

I have had crossepg work on other images I have used but on openpli it just won't work just giving me problems

CrossEPG rytec fix

download and unzip files "crossepg_rytec_update.pyo" "crossepg_rytec_update.py"

Copy this files (via FTP) to
/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/SystemPlugins/CrossEPG/ (rights 644)

restart enigma, go to CrossEPG settings and update Rytec providers...

work fine on my Duo2 with BH image, also work on Dreambox 800HD with Newnigma2 image... then no reason to not work with OpenPli... just replace files in plugin folder and CrossEPG work again...

yes it will mate i just updated & it works .

Hi,the rytec update works but the problem is it does not download the channels it just gives a quick flash.

have u tried this one from vuplus-community forum


after u install ipk , if it wont work, u can replace the latest update in the CrossEPG file , unrar & copy/overwrite contents into similar folder

Hello,i give up on this image so i tried a different one instead,will keep files and try at a later date.
