Can't load new image

HI.I just want to ask, if there is some one who has the same problem.I tryed uploading a new image a couple of times but it shows me[ERROR[[timeout sending data), upload aborted! and also (the image is old version).

Hello,

Please let us know more details about your issue.
As your DM/Sim version, image used, method used for uploading the image.

The error regrading the image is old is when the image have newer second stage boot loader. You need to upgrade the second stage bootloader first, if possible.

Upgrade you ssl first to latest then flash the image youll have no problems then.

My image is ENIGMA2,I uploaded last time around 2 years ago.I use universal DreamUP to upload the dreambox.I have uploaded just few times before,I have,t any problem before.
Sorry Ferret for the stupid question but what is SSL,and how do do it.

Hello,

SSL is Second Stage bootLoader, in order to flash a newer image you need to upgrade the SSL first.
Why do you not use ***STOP*** mode to upgrade your flash? All you need is to have a local network and your DM and PC to be in the same network, which probably you already have.

Unplug your DM from power and wait 20 seconds, press power button and keep it pressed while plug the power to the DM, keep it pressed until ***STOP*** apper on your DM oled display.
After a while above ***STOP*** will appear an IP address access this IP address from your PC with your preferred browser, usually Internet Explorer, or Firefox.
From the page loaded you find a link to firmware upgrade.
Try again with this method and let u know if you still have any issue.

You can use DReamUP again if you wish, are you using a clone or real 800 ? If you let us know we can give you the exact files to use.

You need to load this SSL its the bin file version that will flash with DreamUP. Then use the image of your choice .

I try with DreamUP still the same,Show me the same message,and I try to upload with SSL.I try with Opera show me invalid image (or old version).with Mozilla it is not starting at all,I don't know where is the problem.Sorry

Several Reasons But the solution still at ur side we all can just advise you . I have faced the problems in my early days when I was totally new one in the DM world . I dont hesitate to admit this forum team the peoples here holds my hand lead me to to the proper dimension. Ok I come to Point now
1. The error if Dm is not getting Ip for web browser upgade is sure Lan cable is missing any point change it and then check
there for it is also unable to ping box in Dream Up.
2. Box is flashing from its memory Shows cause u r using both terminal via network and dreamup
3. From avoid this message
(Flashing failed (!!! 010 INVALID IMAGE (OR OLD VERSION)), box will be unusable now )
use daily update of PLI image it will fix ur problem
4. these are some simple tips i hope can recover ur box to normal

Tell you what mate to get around the old image problem flash a ssl82 image and see if that works.

I had same problem,I turned off the antivirus on my pc and it loaded for me

Thanks,this work for me,but not bin file version,I download secondstage-dm800-84.nfi,and now i use Merlin image everything is ok,runing perfect
