Hi everyone!

Could you help me to choose the best lnb for my motorized dish? I will use it with a Vu+ Duo 4K (with FBC tuner) and a viark sat 4K.
Any suggestions?
Thx in advance!

Motorized is tricky, never quite works as it should but you can set up a workable solution with a little bit of trickery.

If you give me the scr details and coordinates, i can prepare a workaround for you.

To get the best out the FBC tuner id buy a Unicable LNB.

Inverto are well regarded as usual.
@Ferret and @cokeaddict and @butchyboy et al,

Do you know if Inverto sell a Unicable II lnb with at least one universal legacy port on it as well as the unicable port?

I can find Unicable 1 versions but can't seem to find Unicable II.

At the moment the one I am finding is called a GT-Sat Unicable II and I don't know how that compares with the Inverto.

Thanks.

Not that I have seen, only Unicable I.

If you want Unicable II with 3 Legacy, then I use the Dur-line UK 124-3L, which has 24 Unicable II and 3 Legacy.

It out performs my old Inverto IDLU-32UL40-UNBOO-OPP

Thanks. The reason I want at least one legacy port is that I have a receiver that won't cope with Unicable, and
I need the benefit of being able to feed all my Enigma2 receivers and Viarks from the Unicable port via an 8+
way splitter.

The Unicable II seems to me to an elegant and cost effective solution to get multiple connections to my
receivers rather than having to buy an expensive dSCR multiswitch.

Does my thinking make sense?

It's the reason I am using Unicable II, I have 35+ E2 boxes + Viark, Gtmedia, Qviart Dual and Icone Wegoo.

The Dual when I first got it did not like Unicable II at all (it is much better with it now) and due to the configuration I had, it was hard work to get a feed to all boxes for both Unicable and Universal lnb from my motorised dish as the viark / gtmedia don't like unicable + diseqc switches. I ended up having to use a manual A/B switch, which wasn't ideal, but did the job as a work around.

So I swapped out the Inverto Unicable II lnb for the Dur-line to make use of the Legacy ports, now I can configure everything to work 100% without needing to use the manual A/B switch anymore (although currently it is still connected).
