Below are the footprint maps for HB-6 @ 13 east & HB-10 @ 7 west

No chance of these signals with a 100cm dish now only Eutelsat 7 West A @ 7.3 received here now & a couple of verticals from Nilesat 102 due to expire very soon.

There is no steerable beam on Eutelsat 8 west C as here http://www.flysat.com/e8wc.php

Only one Ku band fixed Super Wide-beam,

The Hot Bird 6 satellite has a total of 32 active transponders. 28 of these operate in the Ku-band. The remaining 4 transponders operate in the Ka-band. The 28 Ku-band transponders are connected to a high-power Super-Widebeam,

Eutelsat 8 west c is a Spacebus-3000B3,

The maps on flysat currently used for 8WC are for Eutelsat 8 west A this is a different satellite build with 3 Ku band beams,

Alcatel Space Atlantic Bird 2 (26 channels in Ku Band for this Spacebus 3000 B2 Satellite) for Eutelsat. is a Spacebus-3000B2 platform,

So until Eutelsat provide us with a detailed footprint map for Eutelsat west C the one I have attached for Eutelsat Hotbird 10 when it was @ 7.3 west give a better idea than the current maps used as they will give rise to confusion,

The predicted coverage map attached of Eutelsat 8 west C @ 7.8 west is the same as this old map for Atlantic Bird 4A when it was @ 7 west,

So part of Algeria can receive this satellite.
