Anyone found a good Android app to play video streams from a Vu+ over http? Ideally I want something to just take the m3u file and play the stream.

vPlayer was this morning there as I managed to download from Market without problem.

Your second point is exactly what you need to do. Normal browsers seem to want to save the m3u file passed by Vu+ rather than read it and play the stream. DreamDroid sorts the stream and then calls the player.

One thing is that channels in bouquets are reported to have play problems; the work around is to use the channels in 'providers'.

As an aside about Market on Android. It uses your service provider's location to prevent some apps from appearing in Market. For instance Barnes & Nobles eBook reader 'Nook for Android' won't show up if your provider is not in the USA.

There is a free app called MarketEnabler that allow you to temporarily set a number of false providers to get round the issue.
