All About DM800 Clone

I am a newbee so please let me know about DM800 so that i can utilize it best way.

What I have :-

DM800 (Clone)
Tuner:- ALPS
BL:- 76
Sim:- 2.01
Image as Default Having :- Gemini 5.01
Currently Installed Image:- newnigma2-snapshot-dm800-6-10-sim2-ramiMAHER

My Queries are-

a) Please suggest me Best advanced Patched Image for Clone Personally i like Nabilo BH but couldn't find out Patched for BL 76 Sim 2.01. As Gemini 5.01 didnt work at all for me So i flashed with newnigma2-snapshot-dm800-6-10-sim2-ramiMAHER. It really worked very fine but has problem of not booting after doing online software Upgrade.

b) If I have to Upgrade Bootloader from 76 to 76a/b/c How to do it.

c) Which is the fastest way to flash Image (as It takes minimum 60 Min) . Its Dreamup or Web Interference or Flash Wizard Pro (I know if my Box is dead or with CA error then i have to use only Dreamup)

d) If i flash a patched Image should i avoid online software upgrade.as i did with newnigma2-snapshot-dm800-6-10-sim2-ramiMAHER and after restart it stopped Booting.

e) can a Patched Image which is for Bl 70/72 or lets say less than 76 flashed to a Bl76

d) Can a Patched or Non Patched Image with Bl 76a/b/c flashed to my Bl76

e) Can a Original Image flashed to Dm 800 Clone if yes then which one.

e) How i can use my smart Card (Iredto/Videoguard/Mediaguard/Conax) in my Dm800. as if i load them it search all channel but there is no video audio on that.
f) If I reach an situation where Box not booting and i have to flash it again, so does that means the last image will still be there on box or that will be automatically deleted. I wanna know that i have to delete that manual or not coz that might use the space and memory of the box

Looking forward for ur Help on Urgent basis. I would appreciate if all help can be step by step in the form of Tutorials.

Hi mate

If your on a sim 2 box you can now flash a original image then without rebooting flash this boot loader http://www.sat-universe.com/showpost.php?p=664871&postcount=4 and reboot.

Please though mate sure you do not reboot simply flash image then restart the browser flashing process and flash the above boot loader it will take no more than 10 seconds to flash the boot loader on iit own. Then reboot.

So there is no need to use patched images anymore on a sim2.

The bootloader you have linked to, will it always be that bootloader to use for sim2.01 BL76 clones, or will newer original images require a newer bootloader?

Basically, if I keep this bootloader safe, can I carry on using after flashing all future original images?

Boot loader for the sim2 team are updated regularly to improve compatibility with original images and drivers so you should always use the latest. For now the one i linked to is the latest.

Hi Guys

thanks for your suport . I was successfull load Nabilo BH Original 0.12 Image after updating the BL to 76C.

Thank you so Much. Now i have one prolem my Pay Tv Irdeto Encrypt (V 5.7) is not working on my dm800. It serach channel gives EPG even but no audio and Video.

I added Ccam (No edit or keys is done in that) but still no audio and video.

I checked Key through FTP for irdeto

the input is :-

Hi mate

You need to install a enu either SCam or CCcam should read your card.

If your going to use CCcam youll need to add this to the CCcam config in /etc

Yes mate edit the file through FTP paste that text into the file, it does not matter where you paste it although i would paste it under the rest of the CCcam.cfg setup info

Thanks buddy for your support. So i am now summarize the whole thing in one go so that i can get ur yes on that and then i ll implement that in the evening at my home:-

I have :- Dm800
Image:- Nabilo BH 0.12
Sim:- 2.01
Bootloader :-76C
Pay Tv Card :- Irdeto 5.7 (Paired)

As i was having problem that after inserting the smart card in Dm800 card slot i want getting access to my Pay Tv channels.

So solution is that i have to add "CAMKEY: /dev/sci0 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00
CAMDATA: /dev/sci0 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00

Another thing you haven't suggested me the Cccam to be used for this.

Its a proposed solution mate it may not work with version 5.7 irdeto on the whole it works for most irdeto cards.

As for the CCcam version try 2.1.1 and then 2.1.4

The Scam emu may also read the card.

I tried but it didnt work. I edited the CCCAm.cfg. Cccam reads card give all info and green signal with EPG but no video and audio

Can u suggest me something else to try upon. May be u PM me

Are you sure the card is activated?

Does the card work in another box?

Only other suggestion is Scam emu or possible Oscam.
