800 Going into Boot Loop

I've flashed my 800HD , few times thru web interface. however some times it hangs and go into reboot cycle , now I'm using Gemini 4.3 I have not yet put the 800HD into deep stand by,last time I did the box went into boot cycle and not worked till I made other Flash.
Could someone please tell where am doing wrong!?

Hi mate

When you flash your 800 via browser you are using your network and PC to do this.

Programs on your PC could kick in and disturb the process. Programs such as fire walls. Also ensure all network connection are secure and thing like file managers and bit torrent downloaders are not running.

As you know if your 800 becomes un responsive you'll need to reflash with DreamUp and a null modem cable.

Thank U very much. As of today my 800 is working fine , however when I changed one channel to another I had software error, then it went into boot cycle , I unplugged the power then made boot again and the 800 is working OK. I am thinking to make factory reset and flash Gemini 4.4 ( the 800 has hard desk of 300 giga and its original)
please advise.

If your just going to re-flash anyway mate there is no need to do a factory reset to be honest !

It is worth a re-flash if your gettings errors depending on the error you got!

What did the error message say?

Hello,pal, today I tried the blue-Panel to access the Gemini extras NO response! then 800 dream box went into boot and started again,its working normal now ,but when pushing the Gemini Extras the same problem happened again, I have gemini 4.3 as an image , would U help please.

The Gemini server could be down or your communication settings are wrong.

Have a look in the network adapter settings and check your network is configured correctly.

Is your 800 using DHCP?

yes I use DHCP,the problem is fixed by removing the plug-in permanent clock ,hopefully. I used this plug in before and it created problem. It may sound odd but I think its not a stable plugin,am planing to use Nab.balkhole.9(?), however am reading more about it before I re-flash the 800,once more thankx for your swift response.

Hi pals, i just come to know that there is new release for DM 800 on 9/9/2009, by DMM, as of today i have Gemini 4.4 image and its working fine, what will happen if i flash the new release , are they the same or there will be improvement to DM 800, please help and advise.

Are you refering to the base cvs image from DMM?

With no addons server etc these are hard work really.

If you would like to try a different image try the new newnigma image.

Very fast image, does not have all the bells and whistles of some though.

Hi mate, as of today am using Gemini 4.4 on flash and N. black-whole v.11 on BA (m. boot)plus my nfi backup file that I made my self, however i could not put/show the channel picon on the new skin (vali-king size), I have done it earlier on other skins,but i failed this time.
Would help please!

Do the Picon work on other skins? If so you have your answer change skin or use picons the correct dimension for the skin.
