i think he has sorted the problem which i think was down to the sound bar.

Any chance to add FS and autobiss in the Cryptobox 750hd or 800uhd receiver? Any patch?
I'm in the market for more receivers other than Viark, and these boxes seem very good.

No one on here can influence that.
Why do you need so many receivers? Are you a supplier?

Nah no splitter, well actually there was a hdmi extender. One of those ones that you get with the firestick. Just because TV was tight to the wall. But I remove that.

My setup very basic

Phillips 4k TV hdmi earc input to the JBL
JBL 9.1
Computer that is going to the hdmi in
Nvidia shield hdmi to the TV
Viark hdmi TV
Xbox one going to the TV

What I did try

Replacing hdmi cables - viark switch off
Putting viark to Xbox one hdmi input - box still switch off

Viark to the JBL hdmi in - vark still switched off

Turning some of that simple link off on the TV
Turned hdmi cec off on viark
Replacement power brick
Tried downgrading the firmware to earlier versions, actually thought the hdmi cec update broke it.

But what I had noticed a few times audio on the TV would switch from sound system to internal TV speaker. The TV could be on Nvidia shield input. On the TV sound setting, I was unable to switch the sound from TV speakers to soundsystem.

Only 2 fixes, restart TV/soundbar
Or disconnect the hdmi cable from the viark.

I have been currently testing the viark with only using the TV speakers and it has not switched off once. Goes into standby but I'm able to come out of standby.

I think the box has a issue with hdmi , not quite what. I know my other devices all work fine. I've also another stb, xtrend which works with the setup. Not quite sure why the viark has a problem

Anyway perhaps it will help somebody else.

Glad it's sorted.

It is not Viark having issues, neither JBL.
It is such HDMI incompatibility. Unfortunately it happens due to a not so good standard.
This is the reason for which I suggested to put some HDMI devie between Viark and JBL. Such splitter or "magic" device.

No, it is for testing and for friends.

Cheers I might try that as I would imagine over time switching the audio might start to annoy me.

Few question for Viark Sat 4k owners
- Dvb subtitles are OK on this box , specialy on Total Tv 16e ?
Since English ( and some other languages ) is not my native this part is important to work good
Is it possible to change colour of dvb subtitles , I preffer yellow if available
Auto biss is OK ?
Sky ( DE , IT , UK ) work OK without glitches and freezing ?
Multifeed antenas , diseqc 1.1 function properly ?

But if you really need or require Glitch or Freeze Free TV then only way to do that is very obvious Buy a Subscription .

Dvb subtitles are OK on this box , specialy on Total Tv 16e ? i have never needed to use Subtitles someone else can provide the answer to that but i see no reason why not but to be certain once again i suggest buy Total TV Box and legit Subscription that way you will be in no doubt whatsoever as i am already guessing Viark Sat 4k or any other sat box for that matter is really highly likely not to be suitable for any of your demands/ requirements whatsoever .

I use subtitles sometimes and they are fine.
Not tried them on Total TV. I would assume if that channel provides subtitles, they will work fine.

@barney115 - Didnt have in plan to take subscription on any of Sky packages , so that's I'm asking here , I tought that's obvious , OK put it wrongly, in fact I should ask without many freezes and glitches , my bad

Last 10 years or so I have enigma2 box-es , at a present day also , so I can deside what my demands/ requirements are

I can't see any way of changing subtitles colour.
In fact, there are various colours to highlight that a specific character is speaking.

Auto biss only works if you have a active sub as far as I know.

Any active sub will keep autobiss working.

Ifvyes, any paid sub.

No paid subs are needed for autobiss. It always worked in my Viark with or without SP1, other than V1.16.

Did it not have the basic sub that came with putchasing the receiver?
