I'm creating a personalized list for the satellites that interest me. Starting to understand how this decoder works, I must say that it's a great machine. Excellent video quality, perhaps it's the best decoder to use forever

Again about Viark 4K firmware. Which one do you suggest to gain autobiss back without losing SP1? I don't want to loose SP1, so V1.12 is not good for me.
What about V1.14 or V1.15? I did not make deep tests prior to upgrade to V1.16, so I ask you. Thanks.

Forgot to add if the Update.bin renaming procedure is enough, or must I upload the original firmware at first? Thanks.

Best do nothing .
That way you wont loose your Channel list and/or SP1 .
you can always manually add BISS Keys even if it means doing a little bit of work : )
Simple : )

Yes barney, you are right. Channel list would not be a problem because I regularly make backups, but SP1 would be a concern.
The problem is that updated biss keys are not always available....
For example, no tennis keys today (not for final stage at least), so autobiss would be very useful.
Now watching through SP1, no feeds for now.
But maybe it is better to wait for a possible new firmware. I just added autobiss issue to possible improvement list in the Viark forum. We can only hope. Thanks.

to answer your question upload the original firmware first .
Then use PT1.12 or try PT 1.13 you can let us know if BISS AU Worked you will have to load your channel list every time you load PT S/W .
Good luck : )

By tye way, you can go directly from 1.16 to 1.15.
Just rename the file to 'update'. Pull plug, finger on power button on viark and plug in. Remove finger when you see 'USB'.
Made it! Exactly as you suggested, dog-man.
Went back directly from 1.16 to 1.15 WITHOUT losing nothing.
The update process began just few seconds after powering up, and when the box rebooted V1.15 was installed.
It retained channel list, configuration, FS and SP1. And, last but not least, autobiss is back! Tried now with tennis feeds.
So, no need to install the original firmware.
Now, every time the box boots up, it detects V1.16 for download..... no problem, V1.15 is OK.
Thank you so much to everyone.

Just to confirm the update procedure for roll back as I believe the issues with my box started with hdmi cec update with viark. I'm thinking if I can roll back to 1.14 it might stop.

Roll back.

Install factory software first
Then flash 1.14

Would you lose sp1 doing this?
