Spanish company Mediapro and US NeuLion will provide a live broadcast in 4K UHD from the upcoming match FC Barcelona - Real Madrid, which will be played at the Camp Nou stadium in Barcelona on Saturday, April 2, in the chair. 20:30. Transmission of El Clásico will be seen on selected models of TVs Sony 4K HDR.

Match FC Barcelona - Real Madrid will be broadcast live in 4K using NeuLion Digital Platform and delivered via the Internet over-the-top (OTT) to TVs Sony 4K HDR with integrated NeuLion 4K Streaming SDK.


Screens Sony 4K HDR will be distributed in several places, including at the Camp Nou, in the offices of Mediapro / Overon in Barcelona and Madrid and NeuLion offices in the United States. Live coverage, produced by Mediapro and Overon, and delivered by NeuLion, will be broadcast before the introduction of the new application Overon 4K, which will be available on selected devices 4K in the coming months.

In tests may be all kinds of images, documentary, even with the sound of series as the fourth season of " House of Cards. " the bit rate with which the signal is output reaches triple the usual channels in high definition, reaching nearly 30Mbps using the HEVC (High Efficiency Video Coding) or H.265 codec, which is the standard for these emissions and the successor to H.264 or MPEG4-AVC currently employed for HD broadcast.
The channel broadcasts two channels of sound, both 48000Hz, stereo and with a bitrate of 192 Kbps.
It is the second time that Movistar + broadcast in 4K, with the last November the first time to the classic Real Madrid-FC Barcelona. Canal + Partidazo 4K, the channel will broadcast the game on Saturday April 2nd at 20: 30h . , can be seen on the dial 444 platform through fiber optics, for both customers 30Mb as 300Mb and also have a TV Samsung Smart TV UHD range 2015, compatible with the functionality "Movistar + Ready" and have hired Canal + Partidazo.
This feature allows users of Movistar + enjoy your TV service without decoder, since it is integrated within the TV itself.

On the match in Bernabeu has been one feed on 12.5w FTA so i wouldn't be that sure will be on 10e :)

when they played in November last year it was on 12.5w hevc and quad stream avc on 30w. Todays test on 10e was Laliga 4k, it can only be 1 thing :) sure they could switch to ns3 just to tease us though. Probably on a few sats tomorrow.
