So, my WeTek finally arrived today :D

With this membership card you get access to some online services, such as IPTV channels (most of them are Turkish). You can then edit your account on wetek.com

The remote control. Really easy to use, quite responsive. The 'mouse click' on the back is a great touch, much easier to use than the classical keyboard.

You even get a little bag for your WeTek. The box contains an HDMI cable and an RS232 cable as well, but they aren't in the picture.

2 LNB ports, 2 USB ports, Ethernet port, HDMI, S/PDIF digital audio port, RS232 port and power port.

And on the side you can find another USB port and a MicroSD port.

I still haven't figured everything out, so far I did an online update (around 420 megabytes to download) and I've scanned one satellite (16E). I also want to check OpenELEC out and set up Kodi. But the weekend is ahead so I'll have plenty of time for that.

Cool bono now you can enjoy in so many SW and options :D

be sure to flash latest development build as it has so many bugs fixed and added support for picons and so on

I don't see a reason why not. You can edit your channel list on the web, through your WeTek account. I think you can also put a custom channel list in the box using XBMC and an IPTV plugin.

Yes, I am able to watch my private channels through WeCloud Antenna but also with Simple IPTV Player on Kodi/XBMC

Apart from posting pictures of the box it would have been nice for the winners to provide us with more useful information on how it works what channels can be viewed.. more details would have been appreciated having said that they got it for nothing.

you can access anything via oscam under droid or openelec ,
you can access MU3 in iptv under droid n openelec depending on PVR addon in openelec AND wetek antenna as this is via wetek servers where you can add your own streams ;)

you can basically run various droid versions via custom recovery
whilst using openelec you can also use a stunner server as you can in blackhole to another device via kodi installed there is no mediatomb as yet though so upnp tuner server equivalent is not there yet , hope this helps yah get bit more info any questions shout :thum:

just got my free wetek today testing it now will give details later thanks to wetek people rock & roll & this great forum for the wonder box

can't seem to activate wetek services tried to register the device on wetek website but did not received any activation email can anybody help

I have received mine as well, many thanks. :)

However I can't install anything on it, box freezes and crashes within seconds of turning it on so I can't give a review just now. Hopefully it's something that can be fixed without having to send it back.

just factory reset the box within android settings,i have tried to resent the activation code but it says already activated but when i try to login it gives error
