VU+SOLO from KOR*A

just got a new VU+ solo from ko*ea and I wonder if can safely install the latest image (say,blackhole 175)using USB as explained by Ferret.it has now a blckhole dated FEB-5th-2012.
asking for advice.kind regards

yes of course you can you sure its from korea and not china, if its a clone from china you need to update it first with the interface and lead that came with it,if its not already been updated

Video enhancement plugin?

On Vu+solo I downloaded and installed VE plugin from 'Blackhole 174 image plugins' . after having hard restarted the Vu Solo the plugin doesn't show anywhere in the main menu neither in the plugins list.looking inside the BH image plugins server it shows Active.
This plugin VE seems useful improving video quality on my Sony Bravia tv,from my point of view.would be thankful for some help on where to find it on the box.
The image installed is BH 174 and works fine.
