Vodka release .0.0.9 and Crossepg

In the absence of NLB images l have installed Vodka v.0.0.9 and crossepf 4.2 however l am unable to get epg working. It stops / freezes when parsing the summaries. I am familiar with crossepg and NLB images. Does anyone have crossepg working with this image.

I installed Vodka via flash which formatted the drive and then installed crossepg via ftp and copying the var folder. I think this should be ok based on installing with NLB. What are your thoughts

Hi Ross,

Not sure about Vodka but I think Sifteam and NLB have a different folder structure in Var. However it seems that Crossepg is working sufficiently to download so you may be ok. I find that to get Crossepg to work in the latest DGS images I need to use a swapfile on USB. If I do not I get exactly the same symptoms you describe.

Hi carrpet

I understand the term swap file but how to use this on the STB l am unsure. Most of my updates are via Flash and FTP. Can you point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance

On the Sifteam image the green button pnael has a subsection dedicated to usb setup. I first of all select format usb with disk, and then when this is complete I select create swapfile in usb. I am not familiar with the Vodka images but I suspect there will be scripts for carrying out both of these actions available via something like a vodka download extras panel. It is also possible to do all of this via Telnet but I do not know the commands

AB IPBox 9000 has crossepg included in their images, aren't their image based on the DGS/Cuberevo image ? I'm using Vodka 0.0.9 so I would love to get cross epg work on Vodka.

These are installed with the r11834 260310 usb all noboot image from ABIpbox:
