The Bulgarian incumbent telco Vivacom (BTC) has sold the remaining 50% of its transmission company NURTS to Bluesat Partners Ltd for an undisclosed fee.
According to Balkans.com and AMCHAM Bulgaria, news of the deal was announced by the local stock exchange.
Last August Vivacom sold the other 50% of NURTS to Cyprus-registered Mancelord Limited.
The deal with Bluesat Partners Ltd now has to be approved by the competition authorities.
NURTS operates over 800 TV towers and relay stations throughout Bulgaria, while Vivacom still retains an interest in the country’s TV industry through its DTH platform Vivacom TV.
