First check if the key is correct and valid, or try another player (for example mpc player), or restart emu or cam. If it doesn't work then try some other emu or cam. If even then it doesn't work, then try to stream anything, any channel or some fta feed, so that by chance it's not a webifo or firewall problem, so it doesn't allow you to stream from the box.

I am not up to speed on the TBS USB devices, the only one I have used personally is the TBS5925 which is an older model.
It was replaced by the TBS5927 which included a small fan to cool it down.

If you go to the TBS website it should have the list of currently available DVB USB devices.
Thanks Moonbase , I may be better purchasing Octagon SF8008 and relaying it back to the VLC.

Hi guys,
So I have VU+ zero 4k and TBS5925 USB tuner.

I temporarily moved to a new place and have a 1.2 offset with USALS motor here.

Would a setup like this work for both 4:2:2/4:2:0 feeds and USALS controls:
Sat cable in TBS5925 for 4:2:2 via EBSpro and VLC + USALS controls
Sat cable out of TBS5925 for VU+ 4:2:0 feeds to watch on TV (motor adjusted by TBS USB card).
Only thing Im not 100% sure and experience with is controlling USALS with the USB card.
Thanks for any tips or suggestions! :)

I use a Priority Swith .
Input from a gregiorian disch 90 cm.
As master output : Edision mio 4K , working with usals. for 4:2:0
As slave output : TBS 5925 + EBS Pro or DVBDream with Elecard video codec to see the feeds in 4:2:2

Have you tried logging into the webif on your Edison mio 4k and then opening the stream on a laptop. I can open 4:2:2 streams on my laptop when being fed from the qviart dual 4k. The only time if gets difficult is when there are multiple 4k streams that are encrypted.

Yes, sometimes I also stream via Webif on my Edision mio 4K or Octagon sf8008 to PC, It works well, but I have a problem with the HEVC codec on certain feeds.

Will be a pain typing in url of the stream with a tv remote.
Vlc player is not in Samsung app store on the TV I tried earlier. Although vlc for tizan does say it's available. Also to play 4.2.2 you need a reasonable laptop I think. I watch some 4.2.2 on the laptop but not sure on things line firestick ect.

Right now i'm receiving 4:2:2 sat feeds on the computer, either using CrazyScan or EBSpro, then play the feed in VLC so you can watch on computer.
I could setup VLC to send the output to NDI, but then i need and NDI->HDMI converter which is quite expesive.
I was wondering if there is a way to send content from VLC on the computer to the smart tv

Try casting the computer screen to the TV,
Shortcut to open cast feature - Press the Windows Logo key + K
Should work on a Samsung Smart TV.
