Hi I am interest to bay vu+ duo but I want to ask about original and clone .Do they work with the same bootloader in original and clones ? And do they clone working on E2 opensource online update no patched image?

V+ Duo org VS V+ Duo Clone ?

i have read you can use latest images if your box is a version 2.0 clone but there is software to upgrade the version 1 boxes to version 2.0
but for another £60 i'd rather buy an original Vu Duo.
Vu is supposed to be releasing a timebomb to destroy the clones if updated with latest firmware like DMM did with the DM500's,nobody knows how true this is,until it happens and we start seeing reports of dead vu duo's and solos

@humax, having compared the VU+ duo & solo to the originals there is very little difference.
As an end user they work exactly the same and will run original images (for now)
There will not be a timebomb released as VU would not stoop as low as dream did in eliminating clones, they will just patch software in future that will not run on the clones, however then the clones will release a patch so they can again... it will be cat and mouse!
However I would say if you are going to buy as clone, buy one from a UK seller (assuming thats your location) and not from china as if it has a fault sending it back to china can be costly.
