Newbie - hope I am in the right place.
Just starting this hobby, I have an Echolink 7020 with motorized dish (4 wire type)and a Technomate V-Box.
I have got it all moving and saved four satellites.
Can anyone help with the V-Box please. It is designed with a count of zero to 2000, I am trying to relate the v_box counts to degrees, I think count 2000 would be 360 deg ?
My box goes from zero to about 380 counts. This arc covers the sats I have stored ie one is at 30 deg west and the other extreme has a sat at 28.5 deg from east, this all seems to mean that with only 380 counts available my searches are limited to about 70 degrees?
