Using Someone Else Backup Image

Hi Guys

I have seen a backup image which I like, I want to flash, he has provided a password for FTP and Channel list editing

Can I change the password to something I want,

open putty insert your box ip and click the telnet circle then click on open..

you will see a black screen with
vuduo2 login

login with normal login and password

when you see root @ vuduo2 type this
passwd and hit return
it will ask for your new password, type it once, but you will not see any words come on the screen and hit return
it will ask you to re type it, type it again and it will say password changed
then just exit

when I put in the old login and password, the screen dissapears after 2 second, not given the chance to put in new password

no, I put my login
them I put my password
hit enter

them after a few seconds the screen disappears

thanks I got it working
it was when I was typing in my old password, the letter where not appearing on the screen, this was confusing me, I was pressing enter to start a new line
