Using my Viaccess card in card reader!

I have been trying for long to get my bistv viaccess card
work with my ipbox 91HD. I installed the card reader driver
on E2 and installed camd3+newcs. I got image! sometimes worked
very well and after few minutes freez and nothing! sometimes
it did not work at all!

To be honest I am very frustrated and sad about my choice to
buy this receiver. I have wasted lots and lots of my time and
never was able to enjoy! while my friend has never a single freez
or problem with his dreambox! he got same card as I have and he
use it with cccam!

I would like to know what cam is best to use with this card! even in
dgs based image I was not able to have this work correctly!
it works sometimes and sometime (mostly) dose not. In dgs I used
mgcamd+newcs.

same kind of problem here with my dutch Seca3 card

I have a Seca 3 card from the Netherlands and I have only half of the package clear. (enigma 2 incubuscamd + cs)

Does anyone has an idea how to fix that?

I think the problem of Vampgirl and me are maybe the card drivers?

I have already installed the latest.

I am using newcs+mbox.
I have one Viaccess and one *** card. On E2 works even better than on DGS image..no freezes at all. Works great!

Viaccess card

How do you put in a CI card slot (HRT) in IPBOX 9000 (or is the chip facing down or up)

Chip up (ipbox 91 HD)

I have the card with the chip up. Now you are asking: I took the utp cable out, the card out and stange anough the channels are still clear...uh strange.

So good it be that he doesn't read the card at all?

Is there a plugin that can give card info?

pfff... So chip up or down?
and what should i do when he doen't read the card at all
(newcs is running)

Thank you very much Tonika. The problem was that I thought that the card was good inserted because of the channels that where open. I rebooted with the chip down and gues what? it works

thanks for this info. I didn't know that you could use
mbox for viaccess card! I will try and tell you if this
worked. I hope there is no special setting!

Ok I knew it not going to be easy. I installed and have
mbox and newcs running. But don't know how to configure
them to work together! What should I add to cwshare.cfg?
what should i add to newcs.xml!?
what c line should I use?
please help me get this working.
