TF1’s environmental and discovery-oriented channel Ushuaïa is changing its positioning, turning towards sustainable development and the planet’s protection.
From now on, 70% of the schedules of this channel created three years ago, will be dedicated to those two issues. Ushuaïa TV even aims at “becoming a reference” regarding sustainable development, Laurent Solly, President of TF1 Digital said.
Ushuaïa claims 2.7 million subscribers and plans to move to HD broadcasting around the end of 2008, beginning of 2009.
