trouble putting cfg.exe in dreambox 500hd

hi guys,


i have been trying to put a cfg.exe file in a dreambox 500hd without success i first went to var/etc and at first i just dropped the file in the etc folder,but i could not see anything with the dreambox, it shows up in dreambox edit and flash fxp as if i had moved it to the box but i could not see the cfg.exe file, i switched the box off then on with no luck, i know i am doing something wrong but what.

Yes you are doing something wrong .
its not .exe file so it dont transfer not sure why you even have it named as an executable file extension because this is clearly very wrong ..

it should be just CCcam.cfg
remove the " .exe " at the end of file name and right click and rename it as only
CCcam.cfg and then transfer it With success ,

well i transferred the cccam.cfg file to the dreambox but it still showed nothing, in the dreambox it just shows folders and nothing else no single files like it shows with dcc

also i have just made a folder and sent it to the dreambox to see if it got sent and it did, it showed up in the box
