Timers and files across a network

Hello,

After waiting too long for the Dreambox 8000 and now discovering the price I've been looking at the 9000 box. Can you set timers up over a network/with an html page? and can you copy the recorded ts files from the box to a pc via the ethernet connection?

My credit card is getting nervous..!

Hi, Both options U wanted are working.

Scheduling a recordings via web interface does not work very well. The overall performance of 9000 is poor with current software - the box is noisy, CI does not work with lots of cams, card readers are not working with lots of cards, there is a buggy cccam support, box responding very slow to the remote. There is no official Enigma for this box, and the official software from DGstation sux.
It is true that ipbox is excellent peace of hardware, but without proper software for it - what is the point?
Consider buying Dreambox - spend some money, save your nerves.
