The past year was CS Link very successful both in sales and encoding cards in the field of pay TV. Despite the continuing economic crisis, we have seen a record increase in new customers. Currently estimates that it will be by 150000 activation of new cards, which is a significant increase compared to the end of last year. Large extent it contributed to our expansion in the Slovak market, where we significantly expanded its sales network. Already in the spring, we started our cooperation with Slovakia's biggest chain, and other relevant partners to join immediately.
Digi TV in the summer finally disconnected my original "leaky" coding Nagravision 2 and shortly after the UPC Direct satellite moved to a new position. Many users of both platforms, had to seek alternative source of TV reception and CS Link from the saw a large influx of new customers.
What will 2010 and managed to implement what you've missed?
This year we focused more precisely on the Slovak market, which we have adapted the service. We have fixed price list prices in euros, opened an account at Slovak banks and offer extended payment options. Again, we have not forgotten our Slovak customers and we have prepared the Slovak version, which can already be ordered in euros. At the same time launched the Slovak our e-shop with prices in euros.
We must also mention the launch of a new loyalty program, with attractive prices. It is designed for our business partners that want to reward this way for the sale and registration of our cards and selling subscriptions to pay television. Unfortunately, we must conclude that we have something, despite all our efforts failed to implement it. We missed our offer to include high-definition programs. It caused a few factors that we can not entirely control. The positive thing is that the more changes we can expect next year.
What do you expect from 2011?
Next year, bear in mind changes in the coding system. CryptoWork Conditional Access System, which currently CS Link will use will be replaced by a system Irdeto. As we have already advised a while ago, the tests will take place at the beginning of the year according to the current situation should be operational in 2 Irdeto quarter. At the same time, we plan to launch new Irdeto card. This significant change will be used to optimize our processes and upgrading technology.
We expect further influx of customers according to ongoing digitization of the Czech Republic and Slovak Republic. Already in the first and second quarter of next year's planned analogue switch-off in many regions of both countries. Very interesting will again be Slovakia, where the information campaign is lagging. We can not forget the aforementioned expansion of programming and launching new services.
