yesterday i had some free time,so i pluged my azbox elite receiver and i started testing him (since late night).

first,i installed pbnigma 5.1,and i tried to install openmultiboot.the problem was that kernel-module-nandsim was missing,so openmultiboot could not be installed. than a few crashes while i tried to install some emulators and...
next...
i tried openrsi 3.0
i thing that it was the most stable, but also it was the most poor. the feed is out (so i installed manual some things, and i did a somehow cheat i loaded other feeds, with any risk).iptv player plugin worked nice, but could not support ecm in streams (so powervu with stream relay was not possible).

i tried also eurosat and hdmu. the hdmu image, was for me as in my other receivers, good, but not impressive, and i saw the same in eurosat.

i found somewhere (nice place this :D ) an openpli 4.0 build, but also it never boot (crashes in start up)

last i tried openatv. i tried several times to install 5.1 ,but it was stopping boot in 49% . somewhere i found that it need bigger dom and a tool to resize partition. i also found somewhere that for this receiver, version 4.2 should be better and...i installed it. the image, was too heavy and too big,so i did an internal transfer to a usb stick some things like plugins etc...
ecm streams was supported, the most of the plugins were worked and i left it.
i only didn't tried openspa to have a personal opinion...
and i have (and don't know why) big problem to install the original image (the receiver hangs an need the kernel restore solution) and does not accept older kernels (2.6.xx)

many of the above, could be different in premium model (because of the hardware)
and the above is personal opinion from (enough time) tests,if could help anyone...
