Streaming to PC

I have tried to stream from the Ip9000 to my P.C. using mplayer for windows and VLC.I have gone through the basic instuction guide using the stream option and going via my router but unable to stream . Any pointers .Do I have to stream direct ?

what vlc version you using?

Also remember to install the plugin with vlc.

Not all vlc versions work!!!

i am using vlc 1.0 , works fine here, if you use firefox as your web browser, make sure its closed down when you install vlc, also tick the firefox plugin in instalation

Still not streaming .What settings in Ip9000 and do you use streaming or multi room option.
