stream to andriod phone

hi,
anybody know of any working app that will stream from dreambox 800 to phone over 3g without need for pc to be on?
i have seen AndroidDreamer etc... but cannot get it to work over 3g
is there a simple walk thro guide anywhere?

I use Dreamdroid v0.9.6.8 and Vplayer v0.9.8 and it works perfect.

U need to open 2 ports 80 and 8001 to your dreambox ip (protocol both).

And create a DNS if u not already have one.
In Dreamdroid u need to create a profile.
For your DNS IP en port 80.

Works 100% although the sd channels, hd depends from your internet speed.

i put
profile dreamstream
hostname/ip 192.168.1.5
streaming hostname/ ip mydns.dontexist.net
port 80
enable log yes
user & pass yes

is that correct?
then i need to forward port 80 & 8001 to dreambox?

hostname/ip:ip mydns.dontexist.net
streaming hostname/: nothing
port: 80 OK
enable log: My Settings = No
user & pass: My Settings = No

then i need to forward port 80 & 8001 to dreambox? Yes 192.168......

Check ports 80-8001 if they are open for sure.
Open-Ports

You kan also test afther opening the ports if u get the Dreambox Webcontrole page when u put this in your home or outdoors pc browser.

For this u need vlc player on your pc
Fix first this, when ok setup your dreamdroid phone

quick question ive been wondering if you can flash dm800se clone with my android phone? htc sensation running 2.33 or maybe a tablet is what ive been thinkng of buying specifically for flashing them

router says port 80 forwarded to my dreambox ip but when i try to check port checker says not open and will not work?
all runs ok over lan

Its because your and many other providers, (mine to) bloks port 80 but normally u can overbridge this in your router.
I have a D-Link router see my screen-shot

Of course u need to put in this :
http://mydns.dontexist.net:4444/ (or another port)
instead of:
http://mydns.dontexist.net:80/

Start port local 80
End port Local 80

Wel it was just a try, however strange it not works.
Btw i forgot to tel you, port-checker need to see port 4444 open in this case. And not port 80 because its blocked by your provider.

I have also another solution for you

Look for de Webinterface plugin in your box
And change port 80 into 4444

ill delete everything and start again i think
