Hello all,

Can anyone help me out, I have HD 9000 Spiderbox and was hoping to get B*SS feeds open. I have installed Spiderbox_HD_9000_0329_K.uad and probably some softcam but I still can't open BISS feeds.

I have entered correct BISS key (tested it out with my computer software..) on "Key edit" on the right TP, but still when trying to watch the encrypted channel it states it's encrypted. Should I have install some kind of BISS Cam or does the 9000 even support this?

EDIT: On system information: Software Version Ver F5.41, LDR: Ver 00.31.
Hardware Ver 01.20.RM PTC(ok)

The Spiderbox HD9000 supports Biss.

I have Software Ver F5.41, LDR: Ver 00.31, Hardware Ver 01.20.RM PTC(ok). Mar 29 2012

Accessory Menu > Key Edit > Key Edit

Press Yellow button to add the keys, you have to enter the freq also (check that you do not have a conflicting key with the same freq) you can leave the ECM PID as 0000 in most cases [especially when the actual ECM PID is 1FFF or 1FFE], but for NBA Europe on 10E you have to enter the ECM PID which is 0191.

Good Luck :thum:

Thank you for your quick answer sir :thum:

I did as you suggested, but still got the scrambled channel :mecry:

Is it possible that I'm still missing some sort of BISS cam/file/plugin though I can add BISS keys as you explained above? That would be explain why I'm not getting the picture.

Which channel are you trying to get? no there are NO cam/file/plugins.

Just the firmware and the Spiderbox UCAS EMU

I was trying to get BISS encrypted football/tennis feeds on 10/16E. I was testing out DVB-S2 and 4:2:0 (rare one these days isnt it) BISS encrypted feeds.

For these feeds I obviously had to enter the correct BISS keys manually. I tested them out on computer and they were still working.

I tested them out on computer and they were still working.

On your PC's DVB Card they still work?

Can you tell me exactly what you entered (changing the key to protect the innocent of course, LOL)

LOL, obviously!

I'm sure you know where this kind of information can be found though ;)

On my PC card they did work (not anymore cause matches are finished and they have taken the feed down) AFTER I tried to get them work on Spiderbox ;)

So what I did on Spiderbox I searched on manual scan the right channel for the specific feed. All signal levels excellent. Then I went to key edit (UCAS & UCAS Autoroll was off if I remember correctly, I tried both on but no luck) -> Key Edit -> CAS TYPE -> BISS -> Yellow ADD -> Entered the same Frequency than on the feed -> ECM_PID 0000 and the right BISS Key (I checked this multiple times just to be sure;)) then SAVE and my added BISS freq appeared on the list. Then with Exit button back to the channel, but no picture unfortunately.

UCAS & UCAS Autoroll was off if I remember correctly, I tried both on but no luck

UCAS needs to be ON to turn EMUlation ON.

UCAS Autoroll is best being left ON as well. (I remember my BDC Card did not Auto Update with it off, so its to do with Auto Update, prob not actually required for Biss, but best left on anyways!)

PS @ clubfoot

Make sure the tp is not used with any other biss key, even if it's on a different satellite

Covered this already my friend... LOOK AT POST 2

check that you do not have a conflicting key with the same freq

Just in case thou, try deleting all biss keys, backing up your channel data, reflashing the Software, and reloading channel data, then enter a biss key with both UCAS options turned ON

Good Luck with your feeds and keys tomorrow :thum:
