RTVE calls for an information day after the launch of La 1's UHD programming

Coinciding with the exciting start of La 1's regular broadcasts in Ultra High Definition (UHD), RTVE has organized an information day at the Torrespaña facilities

The event, presented by Ana Belén Roy, will have the inauguration by Verónica Ollé Sesé, director of the RTVE Presidency Cabinet. In addition, the participation of Matías González Martín, general secretary of the State Secretariat for Telecommunications and Digital Infrastructures (SETELECO) of the Ministry for Digital Transformation, is expected, along with other prominent executives from SETELECO, RTVE and Cellnex Telecom. The day will be closed by Ángel García Castillejo, director of Audiovisual Policies, Public and International Service of RTVE.

RTVE has marked a historic milestone by becoming the first broadcaster in the world to offer the programming of its main channel in UHD through DTT, covering its entire national territory with coverage that reaches 99% of its population. This means that, openly and free of charge, all citizens can enjoy the highest quality audio and video available on DTT today.
