some image for 900uhd are 3 files??

In some image for 900 uhd, as for example openatv, there are 3 files:

- rootfs.tar.bz2
- kernel.bin
- imageversion

I must flash this image on dreambox 900 uhd: I have tried to flash the file.bz2; all seems to be ok but the image doesn't ever appair to video....

What steps I must do for uploading the image correctly??
