thanks have already tried this

also have tried other cards on the smargo and they work under oscam

plus the smargo and sky it works fine under CCcam so the common factor is the card under oscam

running

OSCAM 1.20-unstable_svn build #5932

I tried the above config and when I telnet the oscam accepts the port and everything. But whilst it is in common interface I still cannot see my sky. Any reason?

Could it be that I put blocker in upper slot?
Is port 30000 ok?

btw the User file

[account]
user = xxxx1
pwd = xxxx2
group = 1
AU = SkyIT

I have put 2 Nlines, one in the oscam server and one in the receiving dreambox. What is the user/pwd? Is it for the receiving end or for the server end? Should I add another user/pwd for both Nlines.

I have tried practically everything now

@rooney72

it would help to see the actual 3 configs you are using . to see where a mistake maybe .

In the cccam.cfg of Oscam Server i have put this Nline:
N: 10.0.0.90 15100 pwd pwd 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 256

In the cccam.cfg of Db receiving from Oscam i have put this Nline:
N: 10.0.0.98 15100 pwd1 pwd1 01 02 03 04 05 06 07 08 09 10 11 12 13 14 256

Whenever I put the 3 oscam files I reboot oscam server on common interface

Then I telnet Oscam server cd /var/bin and start oscam by typing ./oscam1, a file with oscam

Telnet tells me that pwd on 10.0.0.90 is recognised but I don't see anything on oscam server TV. On receiver TV s+y opens with other clines but not my card.

On looking at the Telnet window, the user in the nline showed that it was accepted (ie on 10.0.0.90)

However on the oscam TV, which is still on Common Interface, S*y Italy cannot be seen even though the info windows shows hop 0.

On the receiver TV (10.0.0.90) the TV shows channel from S*y Italy from my other clines and not mine. When I zap on this receiver, the Telnet shows that channel is not recognised

Thanks

I will try tomorrow and I will let you know about the outcome. btw I've seen another port 15200. This has to be forwarded with what? oscam server or receiving server?

You mentioned one Nline. What about the other Nline? Does that mean it is correct?

try with these changes & reboot . see what happens & post back .

can you tell me why you need a line in oscam.server from yourself when if the oscam works it will serve the dmbox via a N line .

Did not work out. I wonder why!!!

Another strange fact. The device = /dev/sci0. I have noticed that when the reader was in the upper slot, s*y italy shows a black picture with the information appearing that ecm is 0.95 and /dev/sc1

So I changed the reader to the lower slot and this time it was not recognised.

One thing for sure. I am getting frustrated by the minute. I have tried various configs but I am not managing to view s*y in oscam.

Any more help please?

try with these changes & reboot . see what happens & post back .

I am also attaching the telnet screen where it shows that everything seems ok.

As I said in my previous posts. On rebooting with Common Interface and then telneting to start oscam, I cannot see the picture. Something is wrong.

Later on an error starts appearing

What about ports?
What about Nline?
Why I cannot see the picture?

Help Thanks
