SkyStar HD2 suddenly NO SIGNAL!!!

Hi,guys
I have skystar HD2 PCI working on Windows 7 for a long time.Yesterday,I was watching a channel, and suddenly,the signal OFF..NO SIGNAL.I checked the dish and its wire on another receiver and signal on the receiver is OK. I unstalled the software and installed it again but no signal.I get the dvb card out from my PC and cleaned it and put it again,but No signal.The dvb card driver is ok seen on DVB Dream and other players and NO SIGNAAAL. I am afraid that my DVB Card went not valid..

What's the problem,and what's the solution?????

happened to me once and it was the cable but you said it's all OK

Hello I had several problems with win7 (in skystar standard without HD) Copy this file to Smartdvb folder, double click and I solved the problem in other viewers,,,

I ran the computer in a SAFE MOOD,and when I ran DVB Dream and other players,it gave me a message that there is NO DEVICE found although the card is installed.And when I run the computer on the NORMAL MODE,the players say that the device is OK..
I will go MAD I can't live without this dvbs2 card!!!!!!!!!!NOT FOUND IN EGYPT!!!!!!
Do you think POWER SUPPLY can affects on signal??

Tonight,I will put the card in my friend's computer to see where is the problem exactly??????

Any ideas??

Please Check Dvb Card An Other PC If Not Ok Than Check A Power Regulator Ic 14/18 Volt In Pc Dvb Card's Board .

Note : Please Before This You Must Check First This Fuze with AV Meter .

here's all the bda drivers taken from my Devices folder of my Dream DVB

first take a copy of your Devices folder

then replace my extracted files with yours

hope will do the job if your problem is just *.dev files

my card satellite is Skystar HD USB and I think they use the same bda drivers

One told me that the IC turned Down and I must buy a new one..He faced this problem with TVii Card and I myself faced this problem with Azurewave in 2010 and I threw it..I am afraid the Skystar HD2 will be thrown ..I will be sure after testing it today on my friend's PC..

Tested on my friend's PC, the Card is off,too.
I tested my old dvbs card on my PC,it's working..
That means my SkyStar HD2 has died..
I think the problem is in its electricity.I don't know if it can be repaired.

wish it could be repaired otherwise you got nothing to do just to buy another one

try an external source switching 13V / 18V DC supply, this is the most common problem pc cards. repairs will be expensive and not worth it, I recommend buy a new PC card

Try before you the PC card dvb-box and the loop through to connect the PC card dvb box can switch 13V / 18V, it is a temporary solution,if it is broken LNB power
