6903 its better than 6983 and all pro cards or boxs like prof 8000, dream , vu+ , technomate, openbox sx, xtrend, clarke tech atlas 200 etc.

Good news from the beginning of this year: TBS6903 card is officially released.
Has the same chip STV0910A as TBS6983 card from STMicroelectronics,but instead of SAA7160 bridge,it has FPGA PCI-E.
So far I cannot say there are big differences between two cards,but if it might improve 6903 driver,maybe then it would see what the differences between the two.
I did a test with both tbs cards on the Intelsat 907 because footprint of this satellite is outside my area of reception,so the signal is weak.
Although the result looks the same,I believe however that TBS6903 can be an alternative a little bit better at the other card,but provided that,as I was saying before,the driver to be improved.

I installed CrazyCat linux-tbs-drivers under ubuntu.
Then what can I use as dvb frontend?

I tried installing updatedvb and v4l-updatelee this week end.
I got no errors during compiling and updatedvb shows me the correct interface (Skystar hd usb).
But when I tried to do a spectrum scan it says "scanning.." but nothing else happen..
I think I miss something on compiling v4l-updatelee new kernel, expecially in the passage where he say "add every wanted media"...I select nothing more...
Anyone can help me?
