skybox f5 menu

hello .
can someone help me please i have a skybox f5 but i cant get into the transponder menu to add a new transponder is there a code to get into that menu and also i cant get into the upgrade by USB i just want to add new channels

The only code the F5's have is for the Cam's menu which is normally 6666, never heard of a code to get into the Satellite setup part before and should be accessible as normal via the menu.

If your trying to upgrade Via USB what exactly are you trying to upgrade and secondly is the F5 seeing your USB stick when plugged into it

If your trying to Update either of the popular 28.2° east channels lists like AJ's or sattv5 then remember to delete your existing channel list first before you upgrade or the F5 will not see the favourites correctly

the sat has to be selected in the sat list 1st,make sure of that

save the headache
1/reset your box to factory settings
2/scan channel list
3/add AJS, ssat or Mast channel list
4/disconnect/connect from mains
you should have them all back on
