skybox f5 and ipbox 9000hd

I've been out of Sat game for nearly 2 years now.
I have been looking at the skybox f5 with gift just wondering can my ip box do the same as the skybox with gift. If so how and can anyone point me in right direction.
If not can anyone recommend where to buy a skybox from worth gift as I've heard a lot about clones out the especially on eBay
