Hello my sky uk card with Irish channels setanta I recently updated it but there was a problem setanta channels do not work I was told that it is necessary to purchase a new card with these channels. My question is whether I can use the new card in the dreambox as well as the old

You do not need to purchase a new card you have been told incorrect nonsense here im afraid .

Setanta Sport 1 requires card to be read with Oscam
same goes for BoxNation and Premier Sport depending if you subscribe or not .

CCcam support died a long time ago which is why the likes of these channels use longer Ecm lengths and is done by Sky to try combat c/s there is no other reason .

but Oscam is very well supported and this issue has been resolved a long time ago thnxs to Oscam devolopers .

my card works in oscam and has always worked but the problem is that the Irish channels after the upgrade stopped working and when I insert the card in oficial receiver on the TV screen that says you should pay on the website setanta or call

That simply means your card just didnt get Activation
it can take between 24 - 48hrs with card in Sky box
for these channels to start working
but most times it should only take 6-12 hrs .

thanks for the reply friends but I know when updates are coming and how to wait for the result but no I had to call and report that the channels do not work I was told to change the map

some mates in ire told me when they changed their box and repaied they lost all hd channels ect, so be careful
