Careful with this one... Some reports suggest bad stuff, from green screens with MC to not being able to reprogramme the box afterwards...

Why do they publish it like that?!? It's more detrimental than helpful, for crying out loud...

You know, there are these horrible stereotypes (that I hate!1!) like "An Italian job" - and this type of thing doesn't help, if one wants to get away from such stereotypical prejudices!!!

Get your arses in gear, guys, don't make thing more difficult for the hobbyists, please!

Yes, I got caught out with this firmware!! Luckily I had a spare DOM which I had to use to get back to an image that worked!! this one is terrible, AVOID!

Easy way to test without blowing your box (I did it so many times :)) -USB without kernel

Tested in USB - w kernel box unchecked - it will update Enigma only as per azup info screen.

Results - it is not loading enigma ....it freezes at /etc/starting/....on front display.

Raskino you did not mention what kernel was used to build this image. Can you please provide more details? Right now I run Kernel RTi 1.7 but I notices there were some recent changes.
My box in sometimes freezing in Enigma RTi 1.7. However I downgraded Enigma to 1.6 and is working fine.

I did the same thing as cata2ca, same results. To be precise, the azbox did not even enter /etc/startup, but remains in rescue mode. I have spaze quantum 2.2 in DOM, which is a awsome, although the mediaplayer needs an upgrade.

I guess spaze 2.2 and this seafteam do have the same "openpli" kernel, as I did not uncheck, by mistake, the kernel option in azup. Spaze 2.2 works just fine afterwards.

By the way, I am very happy with my azbox.

You must be joking...:D

How long now have they been "developing" all this - and it's still "heavily under construction"?!?

Seriously, it's ridiculous, what they are doing, how they are behaving, the speed at which all this is conducted etc.

RTi 1.7.0 in the flash.

Unticked the kernel and shoved Koala into a USB stick. Not even booting!

Ridiculous!

Now OpenRSI in flash, with OpenPLi kernel - still not booting off the USB stick, as it's stuck on =s, sadly...
