which sat-reciever is the best for c-band feeds and which lnb? pls if you can help me..

DVB-C tuner is for cable m8.... for C band a closed source box with a low threshold tuner like the TM5402HD MK1 or DH-HD F15 would be my choice although a D15/F3-5/M3 would be ok aswell. best lnb would be the WSI ESX 241. regards mdt

must have a wideband tuner then... dm800 not exactly fringe reception stb though imo,regards mdt
i think all HD satellite receivers can deal very good with c band, the big question is how big dish you need to receive c band signal 
only dont forget H = R ; V = L polarization, because many c band is circular.
for blind scan, i use TM 5402, i am very happy.
I use WSi lnb.
Someone have experience with Norsat?

Finding the focus yes, as there's more to aim at whilst your struggling to peak the signal strength meter, LOL. But still easy to start by getting Rossia 2, HTB (NTV Russia) etc from 11W C-Band), Stronger than a lot of Ku-Band signals, easily gettable on dishes as small as 90cm (I'm using 1.1M thou!!!!!)
I have been trying for 2 days 1.25 dish 3east
Set up perfect on 3east using kuband lnb
Changed to cband lnb----cannot find anything tm5302 shows 99% strength
but the quality will not budge from 5%, have taken off the cband lnb and waved it around --still nothing
Must be doing something drastically wrong

The satellite that was receiveable in the UK in C-Band at 3.3E, is now at 7.9W and using different freq's. There are C-Band signals on the new satellite at 3.1E but no chance of catching them in the UK. (About 5db weaker than the previous 3E C-Band transmissions, here in UK)

7.9W Inclined Orbit but gettable.
Was also getting some channels from 5W & 20E but my LNB ain't skewed correctly at the moment (flooded with H aka R polarization signals blocking out the V aka L signals)....
