rs232 to usb

I have got the adaptor cable to work with XP but still not Vista

Has anyone had any joy with any brand of adaptor and if so can you tell me which type works?

With the adapter you should had a disc with the drivers, you need to install the driver first before connecting the adapter.
If you did not had the disc try to find it on line.
With vista when you connect the adapter vista finds and installs the driver for you.

I have the IOGEAR GU232A and it works on XP, Vista and Windows 7. I am currently using it on Win7.
