Problems with signal

Hi

woke up this morning to find my sat box not working. Some channels have a signal (signal approx 83% and quality about 74%). Before the signal and quality were well into the 90% mark. The channels however all say "no audio/video signal" Would the problem be the LNB or something else?

your thinking can be the right answer ....
maybe, is it easy for you to try first an new LNB?

testing: the working channels > polarisation H (or V)
the not working channels > polarisation V (or H)

result yes: LNB is the problem

CHECK YOUR LNB H AND V POINT THATS OK SOME TIME SATELITE PROBLEM SIGNAL LOW AND HOW ABOUT NILESAT IN THE DAY TIME SIGNALS LOW POSITION OR SOME TIME NO OR BAD SIGNAL AND THE NIGHT TIME SIGNAL IS GOOD THIS IS NOT LNB PROBLEM BUT THIS IS A SATELITE PROBLEM FOR ALL GUIDENCE THANKS FOR ALL IT IS MY IDEA

check the settings of diseqc 1.0, maybe it is not setted to the sat you are looking for.

If some channels work and some no work - hm...no think that problem with LNB!

Some channels smt no work for next Causes:
1. Prevention of channels
2. Solar interference

And if yesterday work and today no work...1 question for you: "You are change parametrs in your reciever???"

And write what channels no work and what work...
And what satellite... And may be answer for your question will more speed
