Problem with new drivers

After installing the new drivers my Duo2 failed to boot, I was unable to get to the box to reinstall the old drivers so had to install my backup image.

yes sometimes this happens... since BH image 2.1.5 this happens to me also... i tried many things (replace tuners, hard drive) but always after driver update receiver wont boot

my friend have also VU+ Duo2 and he can update drivers without problem... very strange...

most important advice: BEFORE DRIVER UPDATE BACKUP COMPLETE IMAGE... if image wont boot, just flash backup

Yes over the years some Duo2 drivers work OK, I learned the hard way to keep a backup of drivers and image

mr. strauss, problem is not in old images.. old images work fine with new drivers... only problems is in new images like BH 2.1.5 and 2.1.6.x

I asked about VU+ new drivers in the Black Hole forum.
They say: don't install these drivers in the new images from 2.1.5 because you get a deco block.
The new drivers will be included, only by BH compilers, in new future images and not otherwise.
Then you can't install new driver "by hand".
This is valid for BH and I don't know for VTI .
