Hello,

I am preparing a usb stick 2gb with a version of latest firmware 055 from a PC with fedora linux, doing the same steps that I did from ipbox9000 with enigma 1. all steps are performed ok, like fdisk, format, and tar(this runs much more faters than from ipbox), I can see files of firm expanded in usb flash.

The problem is that it does not boot; this flash is not bootable; when I put another firmware in the same usb flash eg from ghost, it works perfectly

are there problems with usb flashes prepared on pc even all steps are performed ok ?

please help me

I wish the best

thank you arken for the answer

No, there should be not difference where you preparing usb stick, u just need Linux.

while trying, I thought also that should work, but does not.

As usual, it goes to prompt of uboot with message like that can not find/access the file boot/uImage at usb/partition 0:1. If I replace at this point usb sticks with my old stick, typing boot is enough.

But the new stick prepared in fedora has all folder and the file uImage exists in boot folder

Why does not receiver see this file during the beginning of the boot ?

thanks in advance
