Picture quality?

Has picture quality improved with this machine?it was poor on simple solo!

theoretically the answer should be yes. Vu+ should have learned from the feedbacks of the past years.

anyway the box is already out and very soon we will see a PQ comparison

For me the picture is more than perfect with 1080P settings.

But I do come from a DM800 so I am easily spoiled..

For me, this is the best receiver I have worked with to date.

I agree!
I think Solo2 SD pic quality is really great too using 1080p. I can compare with my old Azbox Me (with SIGMA CPU) and I dont see any disadvantage on Solo2!

After upgrading from DM800HD Clone I can only say I am REALLY happy with everything, including the picture quality!

I’ve had the chance to check both receivers. The picture quality of the Vu+ Solo2 is far better than the 7020HD. Overall the picture quality of the last Vu+ models are better comparing to Dreambox models as I had the chance to test them all.

It's not true.Vu Solo 2 has a problem with drivers as well as Giga Blue Quatro because they have the same BCM processor

They have improved in latest drivers!
I've done a full search of Hispasat in less 1m30sec... so dont worry about that
