Let's explain a bit what this means:
(Physical Layer Encryption) is used in DVB-S2 as a way to improve data integrity. The modulator uses a number called the "encryption sequence index" as a master key to generate the uplink signal. This same number must be known by the receiver so that the signal can be demodulated.
Most satellite transponders use PLS 0 as the default value, but there are some that use other values.
It would be interesting to be able to get this number somehow, with some software or per-processor calculation.
Has anyone been able to work on it so far?
