Hello, I try use 4k 4.2.2. in my dvbdream, but the image is gray in my monitor full HD. I have a 1660 super.
Do you use a 4k monitor to watching 4k 4.2.2 feeds?
Or with full hd monitor we can watch 4k 4.2.2 feeds?

I use a 1080p monitor to watch the 4K 4:2:2 feed

I cannot see HEVC 4k 4.2.2 feeds like today for champions league.

This is what happened in my DVB Dream:

I think I have a good signal.

Can someone help me?

Hello, I'm experiencing issues with my TBS 6903 Professional DVB-S2 Dual Tuner PCI-e Card. Initially, it worked smoothly with VLC Player, but now I'm encountering significant lag, sluggishness, and freezing when viewing through VLC. However, when I use my Ericsson RX8200, the connection works flawlessly, indicating that the issue is not with the connection itself. Any suggestions on why this might be happening? It seems like there could be setup or configuration issues with the player?

TIA

Does watching through Ericsson rx8200 cause any delay? and when it comes to the license, if I buy the old model, will I always be able to watch 4.2.0 and 4.2.2?

There is no delay when using an RX8200 for watching feeds, it is a Professional grade unit built with powerful hardware, hence its use as "Industry Standard" for its purpose.

It depends if the RX8200 was licensed for 4:2:0 and 4:2:2 (mpeg2 & mpeg4).
If it was, all will be OK, if it was not, you will not be able to get the licensing updated as it is now end of life.

The licensing status of all the options can be viewed via a web browser connected to the receiver.

That is a decent specification RX8200, it has the Mediakind interface rather than the older Ericsson interface, has 16APSK, Low Symbol Rate, 4:2:2 (mpeg 2/4) and is also licensed for BISS2.
Seller does not say if it is entered in the EBU database, if it is eligible to receive EBU biss2 feeds it would be a useful tool and easily worth the money to a trader.

Hi this is mine im selling, its not in the EBU database, that is almost impossible unless you know someone on the inside, but it has the license on the receiver. its a great spec receiver that only a few can appreciate or understand

Apparently when buying rx8200 I don't know how long the license will be active? so when buying a device it may work for a year. Can this be checked somehow? What is the cost of renewing the license?

Licensing for RX8200 is generally permanant, it does not expire.

The thing that might expire is if the RX8200 is in the EBU database for reception of biss-2.
If the broadcaster sells the unit they might tell the EBU to remove it from their database

The licensing for RX8200 units is viewable in the menus via a web browser.

Very good question i would assume it can not as it would generally be used on a fixed dish system .
but i am sure someone can surely provide the correct answer : )
