OK, Elite HD, with larger, 1GB DOM (using Fabry's script to enlarge the E2 partition to 1/2 GB)...

Installation went fine, this time to EXT2, since Stibbich says it's faster. ;) Quick mounting of the USB stick and executing Fabry's script. How?

USB stick (formatted in EXT2) plugged in at the back of AZbug > PB Centre > Device Manager > see the commands/coloured buttons > mount it as media/usb, so it will be dev/sda1.

Then, go into Rescue Mode (switch the AZbug at the back, then ON again, press > button on the front panel and hold, 'till you see the IP address of the rec.).

Start Telnet SW (PuTTy) on your PC, log-in by typing "root" (without "" signs), then copy and paste one line at the time...

Do not try to put in the next one unless you see the # sign come up in the next row, below the command you just issued.

When 2 or 3 commands are given you will have to wait, 'till all the copying is done...

Copy the script from this thread into Notepad++ and then copy each line from it into PuTTy.

When you are in PuTTy, put the cursor where you need to paste a copied line, then right click and the message will be pasted, then hit the ENTER keyboard and watch... Then, the next one...

After reboot, sorting out some settings, network etc. Change the password via Telnet. Reboot.

Edit fstab to add the media/cf like this:

Reboot (most of the time it is necessary to do it a couple of times, so it really works - you can see it by trying to direct picons, EPG and so on to /cf)!

So, it reboots and you get into PB Centre, take out the USB stick and mount the leftovers of my DOM as /media/cf and direct the Picons, EPG and the rest there (get into your box via FileZilla Client and make EPG, picons, 1ch and subtitles folders). I got a GSOD, the first time - when I tried rebooting, having mounted the /cf via PB Device Manager in PB Centre. Eventually (a few restarts later) it all functions!

Having "spontaneously restarted", I test the /cf mount by doing the paths to EPG, picons (/media/cf/picons > restart GUI is a must!), timeshift and recording.

Now, let's send the list if channels in, reload settings (all via DBedit), restart GUI, then configure the tuner (bloody boring, the 16 LNBs and even more satellite positions...)!

We can go to downloading stuff, like Emus/Camds (CCcam, OSCam etc. > send your saved configuration files, of course), plugins, skins, tools etc.

If I am to use Glass HD skin, then I install it first, download from itself the picons etc. > then, I add more picons I have collected from before, via FileZilla Client. Errors are attached to this post...

MENU > Plugins >SW Manager > manage Extensions => Updating SW catalogue comes up with nothing! Empty! Can't get anything to D/L!

In the same part but Advanced > Packet Management > I can't see Media Centre or DVD Player...

I removed the PPanel, since there is nothing in it... ever... What is it for?

Many things were missing, so after the reboot, I went to PB Centre > PB Expert Installer...

Only two letters there, e and w. Nada, more or less, that isn't there elsewhere...

So, I can not find subprocess and similar bits, which I have to add manually, together with:

CrossEPG,
DDsubtitle Player,
1Channel,
IceFilms

and so on...

Please, add DVD Player and Media Centre to the mix, as well. :)

And make them play, as in F500HD, for instance. I know you can do it... ;)

Error manually installing 1Channel plugin... See attached.

I added shlex and subprocess files beforehand but...
