Patch/Software for srt 4651x & 4661x for use with 8 Port DiSEqC

Please I need help with the correct patch or software for my strong receivers, model srt 4651x & srt 4661x. I recently acquired an 8 port DiSEqC switch with the hope to hook it up to one of the above receivers, to acheive a multi LNB setup (using 8 LNB's), so that I may watch up to 8 sattelites at any given time. Unfortunately, it did not work. However, I think the problem may be due to the software. So please if somebody knows the answer or has the software, please :confused:help.

pls use this version 175p for 4651x and 4661x 127p
,all jst 100 percent ok .and lacate your diseqc post for correct lnb post

4653x mytv africa to open mytv africa & jsc sport on nilesat ?

Can someone help me? I recently got a Strong SRT4653x from a vendor that gave me 5 days of free paid programs. At expiration I tried to upgrade it with an STB file for SRT4653x from the Strong Technologies site. It turned my machine to an SRT 4651x model. What happened> I know next to nothing about these things.

Hi Austen,
You should even thank your lucky stars that your box is still working and converted to str 4651x. From what I have observed on this forum it seems the str 4651x model is even an easier model to find updates than the 4653x models.
Is there any peculiar problem that this new conversion has created for you? If there is, then state it so that members of the forum can assist you.
Normally when you update these receivers you erase replace the software with another one through the usb port or via serial port. That is why you are warned not to turn power off at the time of upgrading. Turning power off can make you loose your reciever parmanently.

strong SRT 4651x is thesame as 4653x and have thesame software.the only differece is that:SRT4653x has modelator(card insetrted)while SRT4651x dost has it. if you want to know this remove moderator from any SRT4653x it will turn back 2 SRT4651x.similarly 4661x and 4663x respectively!

hi miys,i recently upgrade my SRT4653X n it works but the reciever fails to read CONAX card{HITV] and IRDERTO card{DSTV}.Please help me on wat to do for the recievr to work with the cards and the upgrade.thankss

Sorry for the late reply. I just came across your post. The problem was that you UPGRADED WITH YOUR SMART CARD INSERTED IN THE RECEIVER! SO YOU HAVE DAMAGED YOUR CARD READER (MODULE). Next time NEVER you upgrade with smart card inserted. To return your receiver to 4653x, buy another card reader and get it inserted.
