Oscam without smartcard "newbie" question

I'm trying hard to get up to speed here. I've been reading but I'm confused. With Oscam, I think stb (Azbox HD) is both server and client, so do I need smartcard? I am in north america and I don't know if the Az HD Elite even has a smartcard reader, and don't know if I even need one, but hopefully not??

Is it possible, if smartcard -IS- needed to setup a usb drive as the smartcard i.e. emulation???

emulation with oscam or oscamymod (only file config needed )
cardsharing by web free or $$ (web required )

edit softcamkey file and look channel open with emulation
in BISS or powervu cryptage

what sat /provider are available in your location

I have stationary 2 meter dish on 91W, which I have available some free open tp and some encrypted, which to test.

stb is Azbox Elit HD, os is Pbnigma 5.1 (kernel 3.3.1)

make correct setting
after put softcamkey.file

you cam descramble package but for your location Dl softcamkey edit with notepad and read channel /sat position open with emulation
