Orton hd x403p DEAD!!

Hello, when the update happened was a terrible power failure ...
Now only shows "00:00" and not accept anything at all. I think there will only a Jtag. :mecry:

Some tips?

Try to update with nullmodem RS232 cable.

my lnb is ok, but think its blown my tuner in x403p and dm1105 pc card.

have tested the voltage out of the x403p and nothing so think the tuner board is at fault, hope this helps.

I think it's the capacitors in the power supply

yes i tried lot times but not sucess when i open eromgrate and clicl on Next Ortonx403p show instilasing sdram failed try again plz sir tell what can i do now

Turn off the receiver, with power

1. Open Upgrade Upgrade_RS232
2. Press Bows (view), I select the firmware file.

3.Select the COM port you are using on your computer.

4.Select Upgrade Type (Type update)

5.Press Next (later), you will see a screen like below

6.The program is expected to enable the receiver. Turn on the receiver within 15 seconds, the update will start automatically.

7.During the upgrade you will see progress:

wait until the update is complete, the receiver will restart.

i loaded my opticum with frimware and after reboot it showed ash
Thanks to the members onthis forum and following the instruction it is alive now but it does not want to scan any transponders altough it shows the signal strength any help

Please i have an issue almost same with my Ortonx403p for almost 2weeks now. it wont booth,just displaying the same counter 00:00

Am in need of any expert advice to way forward pls.

Re-flash the receiver via RS232 should solve your problems.
