Original Dreambox Won't Boot After Flash Process Goes Wrong

I've tried to flash the 500hd (original) using the browser method but it wouldn't reboot when it finished. I had no other option but to manually reboot the dreambox but it wouldn't switch on afterwards. The lights on the box switch on but nothing really works. I'm pretty sure its not a CA error like the one you get when you flash the wrong image onto an uncompatible sim since the method that fixes such errrors didn't work on this one. I've tried all the flashups/dreamups i could find (even modded ones) but they get stuck at the "waiting for aknowledge" part of the connection process.

I have 3 pcs and many dreamboxes but lately I get the same errors, the reboot button just hangs when flashing ends and I'm pretty sure i'm doing something wrong myself here. I tried this on 2 pcs and yet i have the same problems.

I hope someone can help me as im running out of dreamboxes to brick :p

Edit: And yes i used flashup with a mini-usb cable and ethernet altogether and yes I ticked the network button before connecting

I tried it but I wasn't sure how to use it properly. I sent the boxes to a technician now he should get those fixed but thanks for the help. Would come in handy when i mess up the next pair of dm's hahah.

ok all ok naow genuin 500hd and clone.

with sunray dowloader conect with option internet. stop on http mode open ddc for you catche ip dm 500hd and open your internet put the ip for your dm 500hr and update the firmwaire when is finish do not reboot just umplug the cable electric from de dm 500 hd wite 2 minute and plug back and all ok .
