For me most important thing will be cooperation with CI+modules.
I've never used them but i think this one has 2 x ci slots. Others have been talking about this receiver being good a blind scans. Sure we will find out in time.

Yes blindscan these days is also a very important thing (especially in E2 receivers).
What fw will you be based on ?
If possible, tell me how it works in new Gigablue I'm thinking about buying this box.

I won't be using this box until christmas day but i have seen openatv images for it so i suppose this is what i will start with. I do not know what image it is shipped with.

hi, currently I have the GigaBlu_UE twin very good and performing but currently I advise you not to install ATV 7.5.1 it has problems especially in recognizing the full space of the Flesch or various very good decoders and only once it gave me the problem of insufficient space and it happened now with this software, instead OpenPli 9.1 did not detect anything and is perfectly functional it has not had any problems, it is a decoder with a lot of potential and I use it only for collection and I only do backups for obby.

I bought the DVB-S2x tuners separately...multistream which to use you have to replace with DTT has the same slot to position them.

I have open atv 7.5.1 installed on the gigablue quak 4k pro, It is working ok for what I need but i cannot install anything from the usb stick. What i have done just use telnet to install plugins that i need. As of yet there are no open pli images for this box, or should i say available from their downloads.

It looks as though Egami might have an image for the gb quad 4k pro but I am yet to get my hands on it.

If anyone has one of these boxes here is the recovery method.

Recovery Mode:

1. Shut down the box completely

2. Switch off the box using the switch on the back (de-energize)

3. Hold down the power button and switch the box back on using the switch on the back

4. Continue to hold down the power button

5. A timer appears in the display 3 ... 2 ... 1 - keep the power button pressed

6. After the timer has expired, recovery mode is started - the power button can now be released

7. An IP address appears in the display (usually assigned by the router via DHCP)

8. Type the IP address into any browser of any device (computer (desktop/laptop), smartphone, tablet, etc.).

9. Voila! Recovery mode started and entered successfully

P.S. Also from what i have read you need to remove hard drive and and usb devices.
